Works in operation. Perception under pressure.

Xenopoem Conference began in 2023 as a small xenopoetics discussion circle and gradually evolved into a gathering for artists working at the edges of perception. In 2025 it took hybrid form across Discord and London, with participants joining from Russia, Canada, the UK, and Japan.

In 2026 the focus shifted from philosophy to art in operation.

We look for exploratory works that activate during the session itself.

Xenopoetics is a compositional method concerned with volatile form. It destabilises the human as the fixed centre of meaning, generating symbolic pressure that unsettles cognition and alters perception. Language, image, sound, and systems reorganise experience when released from familiar coordinates and brought into contact with non-human cognition. The xenopoem produces structural mutation within the observer.

Xenopoem Conference is convened by Zoetica Ebb and Kenji Siratori.
